Quilts have always been a big part of my business , I used to travel to America for my collection but now am more likely to buy lovely old English patchworks and whole cloth quilts from the North , and when I can find them French block prints 

This is a lovely old English coverlet with some repairs patches and wear , not surprising as it is 19th century and been a household item. Still fresh and bright for all that and a lovely large quilt for those not adverse to a bit of shabby chic

This beauty hangs behind the iron bed in my spare room. Hand dyed fabrics mixed with old and new florals give it a charm and softness. I think it is 70's , I bought it from a textile designer who I think made it
